Insanity: Puns & Pundits

Just by casual observation of normal life, I have come up with the following law:

For every pun, there is someone saying that it is bad.

Seriously. When was the last time you heard a pun NOT followed by someone saying that it's bad?

Which leads me to my next point. For the past few years, I have been stumbling across the word 'pundit' at least once a week. What marketing monkey came up with that?

I just assume it means someone who makes puns; which by definition, are always bad.

You can't complain about this anymore. It's perfect!
