Burgers Italiano

  • 3 tablespoons basil
  • 3 tablespoons oregano
  • 3 tablespoons garlic
  • 5 pounds ground beef
  • 12 hamburger buns

Place garlic, oregano, basil, and ground beef into a large mixing bowl. Thoroughly mix together. Mold into 12 (almost) half pound patties. Grill for about 15 minutes (or to desired doneness). Serve with buns and toppings (cheese, tomato, lettuce, etc...).

Tip: basil, oregano, and garlic (BOG) make almost anything taste Italian, and I've never met anyone who doesn't like Italian food. (Who doesn't like pizza or pasta?)

Another tip: because I think that garlic should have a kick to it, I put in a little hot sauce with recipes that include garlic. For this, I'd use no more than 2 tablespoons. It will give a little warmth without overwhelming everything.
