Google Doodles

It's rare these days to actually see the real Google logo when doing a search. For a week or so a few months ago, I forgot what it actually looked like. It's gotten out of hand.

It's always the 134th birthday of some guy or the 82nd anniversary of something obscure. It's fine that they do special things, but could they at least stick to things that everyone knows about? Or at the very least, no more than twice a week?

Of course, with Chrome I hardly ever see the Google home page anyway. And even when I do, I have a background image set so this is what I see: https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/_lMyw8ThHJiRI5wNpkd-fgfcOSI1vUU31xFLMnSdRcI?feat=directlink

Do you still see the Google doodle/logo on the search results page in the upper left corner?

You can't complain about this anymore. It's perfect!
