Internet Explorer 6 must die

If you are reading this, congratulations! You are probably not using an antiquated browser!

I have used the nuclear option, and recently implemented a way to direct people using IE6 to a site telling them to upgrade. Anyone using it is a danger to himself, and the rest of the Internet. Now I remember back when I got IE6, waiting for the thing to download. Over dial up. Ten years ago. Man, it was so much better than IE4!

This makes me think that we were all masochists in the past. I mean, how did we ever live through using that crap? It supported almost no web standards and it let bad stuff get in. It also crashed a lot.

I noticed that people coming by and leaving unauthorized advertisements were generally using IE6. So that gives me the right to be like the old man yelling at all the no good punks to get off his lawn.

So come back when you're using a browser released in this decade. Maybe then you will see that no one reads this.
